Position Summary:
The Regional Field Trainer partners with business leaders, regional talent management and Human Resources to identify and drive key areas of learning opportunity in the retail environment. This position works to ensure successful onboarding and continuous education of new and existing store personnel.
The Regional Field Trainer plans, implements, manages and evaluates training programs that support and increase associate productivity and capability as well as organizational effectiveness. This position is responsible for the continuous improvement of training program for regional sales associate (RSA), Sales Managers, Store Managers and various store support functions. This position will identify areas for improved efficiency and productivity and developing, in partnership with instructional designers, updated blended training materials and resources.
The Regional Field Trainer also serves as a subject matter expert (SME), in partnership with store managers and leadership, representing the broader retail operations team, to ensure sales processes align to retail strategy as well as organizational initiatives and growth. As a subject matter expert, this position continuously researches and learns about market trends and competitor’s market placement and then utilizes this knowledge to inform decisions on content and delivery updates. Previous Ashley Leadership experience is required.
