Carrier Operations Manager 

What Will You Do? 

You will be responsible for serving as the primary business contact between Ashley Distribution Services (ADS) and the outside carrier operations personnel. This position is expected to provide a clear line of communication while developing strong operational carrier relationships. You will be expected to support new business opportunities, new lane opportunities and work closely with the management and operations teams. This position will participate in existing and new carrier development and is responsible for carrier/shipping lane alignment by developing best in class strategies and cost-effective routing guide solutions. Accountable for monitoring capacity demand and carrier performance. Maintain carrier to lane assignment, ensuring capacity is met with the right carriers.  

What Do You Need? 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required

  • 5 years’ experience with planning/logistics/carrier procurement, Required
