Title: Senior Freight Operations Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC OR Missoula, MT

What will you do?

The Senior Freight Operations Manager is responsible for serving as the primary contact between Ashley Distribution Services and outside carrier operations. You will be expected to provide a clear line of communication while developing strong operational carrier relationships. You will support new business opportunities and new lane opportunities and work closely with other leaders and individual contributors. The Senior Manager will participate in existing and new carrier development and is responsible for carrier/shipper lane alignment by developing best-in-class strategies and cost-effective routing guide solutions. The Senior Operations Manager is accountable for monitoring capacity demand and carrier performance this position will maintain carrier-to-lane assignments, ensuring capacity is met with the right carriers.

What Do You Need?

5 + years of experience in a combination of transportation, logistics, or Fleet.
