Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC has multiple openings for Sr. Database Administrator in Tampa, FL. Responsible for strategically implementing database solutions including data schema and database infrastructure. Work under minimal supervision and in coordination with multiple teams for project execution; monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and evolving databases for technology purposes to spur the company's continued growth. Install, maintain, and optimize databases and database infrastructure. Work with database users and resolve data-specific problems. Act as Subject Matter Expert on database structure and design. Assist IT and Business teams on new system implementations. Ensure appropriate backup and restore processes are implemented and utilized. Ensure that data entry, retrieval, change and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion. Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization's business systems development methodology. Conduct research and make recommendations regarding database technologies, development processes, and deployment processes. Ensure proactive monitoring and resolution of issues as they occur. Provide technical support as necessary.

Job Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or related field and one year of relevant work experience.

Also, must have work experience in:

• SQL Server Database Administration (including SQL Agent job scheduling and security);
• SQL Server Database Development & Query Tuning;
• SQL Server Integration Services Development;
• BI Tools Administration including ETL development and data modelling; and
• Documentation of processes and procedures.
