Regional Retail Recruiter
***Are you able to travel up to 50%? This role requires 2 - 3 days in the field including, but not limited to attending/facilitating hiring events in the community, at our Homestores, local colleges and military events. Travel will be by car or plane and overnight as needed. This position covers both OR and WA stores.
What Will You Do?
The Regional Retail Recruiter will support the retail enterprise by driving candidate flow through various field activities, job fairs, location visits, college and military events. This position will develop and execute recruiting strategies that enable the company to meet current and/or anticipated staffing needs. The Regional Retail Recruiter will partner with various business units such as Human Resources, Leadership, and management to drive staffing calls, reporting, training and development, compliance, improve quality hires and retention, policy, and workforce planning execution. This position will communicate business strategies, maintain presence in the community and enhance candidate experience. This positions also performs activities that include, screening, interviewing, and placing candidate selection to the appropriate positions utilizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) appropriately.
- Focus on improving quality hires while partnering with HR to improve retention Collaborate with the business to gain an understanding of current and anticipated staffing needs; develop and execute field recruiting strategies to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and agencies, area job centers, area high schools, trade schools, technical schools and colleges and universities to aid in the execution of field recruiting strategies.
- Attend community events such as festivals, parades, sporting events, etc., reaching out to potential candidates as appropriate.
- Lead staffing calls, participate in meetings, consulting with hiring managers, leaders to manage expectations on the hiring process
- Develop relationships that can aid in the development of a network of resources to help expand the candidate flow.
- Remain active on social media forums and employ other creative methods that reach potential candidates. Lead and organize local and industry job fairs, as well as career fairs and events at local high school, college, military and university campuses.
- Effectively source qualified job candidates via computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, job fairs, employee referrals, etc. • Outreach to candidates in the ATS via email, text and phone calls to assess interest, screen, schedule interview or invite to facility to complete interviewing process.
- Post on free sites such as state job service site, school sites and social media sites, where not posted by third-party recruiting advertising agency.
- Ensure marketing materials such as flyers, posters and yard signs are posted in the market. Interview job applicants to pre-screen for job qualifications and obtain information regarding candidate work history, training, education or job skill. Inform applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, and promotion opportunities.
- Review employment applications and requisitions to match applicants with job requirements; refer qualified job applicants to managers for interview.
What Do You Need?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years Human Resources or Talent Acquisition related experience
- Exhibit strong sourcing qualified candidates through a wide variety of media channels such as direct sourcing, job fairs, social media channels
- Ability to build collaborative partnerships with business, HR partners, team members and community partners.
- A positive, can-do attitude!
- Understanding of State and Federal employment laws relative to responsibilities
- Advanced interviewing skills and the ability to sell

Wage Range
RANGE: Min - $54,839 Mid - $68,548 Max - $82,258 (Annually)
