Cost Analyst

What Will You Do?

You will collect, organize and present to management, financial data used in decision making to lower costs and increase throughput. Form management teams to focus on process improvements and cost reductions. Maintain and validate cost for all raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods items. This position will collaborate with Operations Management and Industrial Engineering to develop shop floor policies to improve data collection and reporting for all costs associated with shop floor work orders. The Cost Analyst has a key responsibility to form and focus management teams on cost reduction programs, quality improvements and process improvements. Additionally, this position will present recommendations to management through financial analysis and reporting.

What Do You Need?

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance, Required
• 5 years of Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing company, Required
• Experience with manufacturing costing and inventory control systems, operational accounting performance measurements, bills of material and labor routings.
