Director of Finance
What Will You Do?
As our Director of Finance, you will be exclusively focused on the HomeStore and Ecommerce business, defining and implementing Global Integrated Distribution KPI’s to drive attainment of operations goals and initiatives as well as implementing daily and weekly KPI reporting throughout the organization to drive better visibility of results to goals.
You will act as a financial advisor to the ops team in interpreting financial results and variances, identifying root causes, and implementing counter-measures. You will also partner with regional operations and finance leaders to identify and drive operational and financial improvement initiatives in the regions, including but not limited to margins and costs.
Coordinating physical inventory and cycle count processes across all locations and collaborating with project management and accounting teams to ensure project cost forecasts and costs incurred are accurately reported will be a vital part of the role.
In addition, you will assist with the development of capital budget and capital spending requests, analyze reported monthly results, including but not limited to variances and productivity, to ensure they are properly reported, and develop and implement processes and manage teams focused on lowering costs, improving quality and increasing thought-put within all retail store, warehouse and distribution areas.
What Do You Need?
·Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Required
·15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Divisional Operational Controller role working for a large multi-division manufacturing company or retail environment, Required
·Strong knowledge in costing and inventory controls systems
·Experience in operational accounting performance measurements.
·Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma
·Ability to lead, teach, and motivate direct reports
·Ability to perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
