Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager (Canada)


What Will You Do?

The Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager (Canada) is responsible for leading and optimizing the AshleyHomeStore.ca website for Canada. This Sr. Manager must be able to influence others and work well across multiple departments, vendors, licensees and leadership levels. This position will also work with management to develop strategy and long-term planning.

The Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager (Canada) will oversee the day-to-day needs of the Canadian website and serve as the primary liaison to the website operator and licensees. Example responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Licensee Operations – Training, Issue Resolution, Communications, Portal management
  • Delivery Performance and Fulfilment Management (Facilitate Postal Code allocations)
  • IT Product/Project Management prioritization
  • Customer Care Performance
  • Financial Reporting
  • Site Analysis and Optimization
  • Coordination of Pricing Zones and Files

The Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager will effectively lead by utilizing all resources available. This individual will display leadership traits to promote a positive and professional environment. The Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager will integrate goals and objectives to enhance and increase business and consistently seek new and innovative methods to improve processes within the department and company.


What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience, Required
  • 7 years’ experience in ecommerce and business, Required. 
  • Ecommerce experience in Canadian market preferred.
  • Occasional Domestic, International Travel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills Work independently as well as in a team environment Document management system
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Internet, Google Analytics
  • Strong skills in agility, along with the ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities changes on short notice
  • Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect
  • Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers
  • Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries
