Distribution Center Automation Specialist

What Will You Do?

You will provide operational and systemic support to the distribution and fulfillment centers. This position work directly with the operation to troubleshoot problems or issues that arise, identify enhancements for the systems or processes that automated machinery is performing, and apply continuous improvement philosophy to improve the overall workflow efficiency and standardization. Reporting to the Automation Supervisor, this position helps to maximize automation up-time and utilization and helps grow our assortment of automation solutions.

What Do You Need?

  • Associate degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience, Required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a distribution center environment, preferably in an automation setting
  • Hands-on floor level experience preferred
  • Experience communicating and working with operational supervisors, leads, managers and other leadership roles
  • Basic understanding of logistics
  • Working knowledge of supply chain execution software systems
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and methods
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
