Description
Summary:The ADS Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for auditing and approving all manual carrier invoicing and process all carrier payables in the system.
The ADS Accounts Payable Specialist is accountable for processing carrier invoices timely as well as collecting and processing paperwork for timely invoicing.
The ADS Accounts Payable Specialist will coordinate and support Ashley Distribution Center (ADS) operations involving confidential information and works on cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, process and approve all manual carrier invoices.
- Work with carriers and necessary departments on all discrepancies.
- Audit and code all ADS Electronic Funds Source (EFS) credit card charges; process for posting.
- Process payment lists for carrier payments
- Assist with month-end close.
- Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education. Assist with training other employees and providing backup.
- Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
