IT Development Intern

Our IT team combines a highly skilled workforce, the most advanced equipment available, and incredible computer optimization to create one of the most agile operations in the industry!

What Will You Do?
Ashley Furniture Industries is looking for a Summer IT intern to gain a well-rounded introduction and experience in Information Technology. The internship will focus on principles of Agile Application Development and will equip you with transferrable skills that can help you anywhere you go, major areas of work include:
·Perform tests and simulations that assist in the development process Application Management support task definition and execution
·Agile Development and Practices
·Web Development using Node.js and JavaScript.
·Defect fix and enhancement development
·SQL Scripting and Database operations
·System and process documentation
·Knowledge base document creation

What Do You Need?
·Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
·Basic Programming Skills, JavaScript exposure (preferred), Communication, Web
·Ability to adapt and learn new tools
