Senior Marketing Brand Specialist
What Will You Do?
The Senior Marketing Specialist works directly with the Marketing Manager to help support the overall direction and strategy of the Ashley Marketing Team. The Senior Marketing Specialist will own key channels/processes/technologies. Responsible for analyzing data and key results, developing, and managing projects that improve marketing and advertising performance. The Senior Marketing Specialist takes ownership and accountability for continuous improvement of all major KPIs to meet department goals. Provides actionable insights to management and is comfortable making key decisions for the program. This position works closely with internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines and outside agencies to ensure communications and campaigns are aligned with Ashley’s standards and the overall marketing objectives. They will support team development, including training of new hires, and act as a mentor to interns and coordinators.
- Owns the development and management of new process/business functions
- Manages Strategic Initiatives focused on overall organization growth mapping, customer segmentation, and portfolio mapping, helping to guide Brand Architecture based on organizational goals and customer-centric learnings
- Assists in the evaluation and selection of vendor partners.
- Partners closely with creative, social media, and media teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, as well as influence their support of brand initiatives.
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners to develop segmented content to drive a more 1-to-1 relationship with existing customers and prospects.
- Provides overall project management and oversees day-to-day marketing activities.
- Identifies and drives opportunities to continuously improve marketing and advertising performance, tools, documentation, and processes by analyzing performance and competitive research. Takes ownership of opportunities and sees through to execution.
- Ensures flawless execution of campaigns by ensuring timelines are met on the production and syndication of campaign assets including TV, radio, video, digital, and POP/collateral materials.
- Serves as a mentor to entry-level Associates and is an active participant in the on-boarding of new hires.

What Do You Need?
- 3 year’s experience in Marketing, required.
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, required.
- Excellent understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
- Flawless execution and excellent attention to detail.
