*This position does require to be onsite at our Advance, North Carolina location 

 Automation Design Internship

 What Will You Do?  
As an intern with Ashley, you will be working on real-world projects that will be utilized in our organization. In the automation world, you will draft solid models, draw 2D electrical schematics and 3D electrical designs, and attend and assist rough mock-ups and first construction sessions of machines. Frequently interact with employees and operations management to provide basic information and responses in order to improve the engineering and manufacturing processes and products. 

 What Do You Need?
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Design, or similar field.  
  • Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving skills.  
  • Excellent organizational skills.  
  • Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all organizational levels   
  • Ability to set priorities and work with minimal direction and supervision
  • Skilled in time management
